Experience is not required, but preferred. Benefits Of Yona Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer paid life insurance 401(k) plan Competitive paid time off Employee assistance program Wages on demand Discount & wellness programs Career growth Responsibilities Transport laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts Operate commercial washing machines and dryers Sort and load soiled linen into washers and load clean, wet linens into dryers Proceed to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts Keep accurate records of linen inventory Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing Maintain equipment and the laundry areas, clean and keep areas in a neat orderly and safe manner Follow all company policies and procedures Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs Deliver laundry as specified Put Customer Service First: Ensure that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individual's needs and rights Requirements Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Ability to work independently Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel Must provide a criminal background check Laundry experience is a plus This posting in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
